About / FAQ's

Digital Pirate Material started in January 2010 as a way of promoting artists and sharing music.

Since then it has slowly built a following in visitors, with artist interviews, regular feature 'SoundCloud Selections' showcasing the best of that on-line platform and has produced a free downloadable 18-Track compilation.

In the future DPM will continue to push new sounds and artists.

To find out more about Digital Pirate Material, how it began and what the aims of the site, please read an interview that I did with K Mag by clicking the link http://bit.ly/wq8ShN

Digital Pirate Material is run solely by John Graham.

FAQ's

Are you a Pirate?

Not in any way, shape or form.

I'm completely against music piracy. Not trying to preach too much, illegal downloading takes a great deal out of the industry which I've experienced first hand.

Is DPM something to do with the Streets then?

I'm afraid not. The only thing that thing that we share is a name (slightly).

Have you been approved by Mike Skinner thou?

I guess this counts...

What's the best way for me to send over tunes?

Either through email, soundcloud, facebook inbox. Pick your method.

Before sending through it would be nice to read through this article as it's the way I would like to receive tracks, although I'm not overly fussy to be honest.

I'm more than happy just to be receiving music from a lot of talented people.
