Disclosure - Tenderly

'Winning fans amongst Pitchfork, NME, XLR8R, The Guardian, Loud and Quiet, Altered Zones and Fader, brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence made their debut in 2010 with the sublime ‘Offline Dexterity’. Since then the brothers, aged 17 and 20, have released 'Carnival' and 'I Love That You Know' as well as giving away an EP for free.

2011 marked a fantastic year for Disclosure, so with their upcoming SBTRKT support and excellent new single on the horizon 2012 looks like the year they'll be cemented as one of the most exciting prospects in electronic music.'

Disclosure first came to my attention through their excellent remix of Emeli Sandi's 'Daddy', which took me to their free downloadable EP after looking into them more. The way that their tracks are structured is so pleasing to my ears.

Their aforementioned EP is something that I would recommend highly and 'Tenderly' is a great follow up to an already impressive body of work.

'Tenderly' has retro ascending keys, set aside fluttering sounds and pitch shifting vocal cuts, with nicely made build ups.

Double A-side single ‘Tenderly’ / ‘Flow’ is to be released on January 30th via Make Mine
