K-OS - It's About Time [Mixtape] [Stream + Download]

''It's About Time' serves up unreleased material past and present that should have been circulating along time ago. Since cutting his teeth last year in the scene by appearing on the lineup for JUST JAM, jumping on ArdTv's Ustream sets and being championed by DJ Limelight (1xtra) we feel this is just the beginning and a brief insight of greater things to come. More tracks will be dropping in the coming weeks, including K-OS vocal over Faze Mikaye’s ‘Take Off’ instrumental.'

Have been steadily listening to this mixtape from K-OS over the course of the last week and it feels more of a street album than a mixtape.

The beat selection is well chosen, with K-OS going over Grime and Dubstep beats that show his versatility and mic ability. His word flows are consistent and well executed, I can see K-OS becoming a real lyrical beast. The Dot Rotten productions on the mixtape are a personal favourite, with K-OS making them his own.

If you like tight flows and steady beats, this is made for you.

Recommended Listening: 21 Freestyle, London Sound, Rain Drops, Frontline, The Deepest.
