Rusko feat. Amber Coffman - Hold On [Video]

'Shot over a 5 day period of touring the UK, Hold On documents the chaotic life of one of dubsteps biggest acts.'

I simply love this tune. It's completely and utterly addictive, I love everything about it from the beats to the chords to the vocals. A proper summer anthem and the best track from Rusko's impressive debut album 'OMG'. I'm very excited to hear that a remix pack is coming soon and will be having a crack it remixing this once I get my hands on it.

You can buy 'Hold On' from here.

Uffie feat. Pharrell - A.D.D. S.U.V. [Official Video]

I've only been aware of Uffie since A.D.D. S.U.V. leaked onto the internet and onto several blogs. Looking into her on wikipedia it's fair to say she has had a colourful background and is quite an interesting character.

'A.D.D. S.U.V.' on Spotify

Along with the original we get a remix of course, from Armand Van Helden and it's a banger. This is a fantastic remix and so much better than the Van Helden remix effort of Guetta and Cudi's 'Memories'.

KiD CuDi - REVOFEV [First Single from 'Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager']

'Heres the first single from my new upcoming album MAN ON THE MOON II THE LEGEND OF MR. RAGER. ENJOY YOUR SUMMER! DOWNLOAD THIS GLORIOUS F*CKER NOW *Those having trouble pronouncing the title, its REV OF EV which is short for Revolution Of Evolution.' via. kidcudi.com

Taken from his second album 'Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager' and produced by Plain Pat, who produced most of his first album. Since the release of his first album i've been a huge fan of Cudi. I seem to get excited by every release that leaks, even his freestyles. There are not a lot of artist that I can say that for.

Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager is scheduled for release in September.

Plan B - Prayin' [Breakage Remix]

Prayin', the 3rd Single from Plan B's brilliant second album, 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks', gets a remix by dubstep producer Breakage. Grittier atmospheric feel to this with lots of lovely sub bass and rhythmic drum patterns.

Wideboys & Majestic - In The VIP [Video] feat. B-Live and Boy Better Know

Awesome track that's been around for a while and featured on the recent mixtape by Shorty. Pleased that this is getting the release it's deserves and hopefully it will get a good push into the charts. The Skepta verse has been taken off, which is a dissapointment, but understandable with radio edits etc.

Released on Loaded Records.

M.I.A. feat. Jay-Z - XXXO [Remix]

This is sick, I really love M.I.A. and didn't expect this remix at all. Jay kills it as usual.

“XXXO” is perfect for those who prefer a more lighthearted, electro-dance track from the singer. The chorus is catchy as hell and you can’t go wrong with Jay-Z blazing the track after proclaiming “This is not my politically correct flow.” via The Round Table

Mark Ronson & The Business INTL feat. Q-Tip & MNDR - Bang Bang Bang [Video] + [Count & Sinden Tribal Horn Remix]

I heard the radio rip of this tune a few weeks back and I really do genuinely like it. I've read a few negative things, mainly on twitter about this track, but i'm really feeling it. Sounds kinda fresh to me. I had no idea that the video had been released, only stumbling on it on youtube when looking for a cdq version of the track. It's taken from Ronson's up coming LP 'Record Collection', out September and features hip hop legend Q-Tip & MNDR, who I will admit to not knowing about.

Below is the Count & Sinden remix that I spotted posted on Herve's soundcloud. It's another nice remix from these guys, who I believe are gearing up to release their album.

Mark ronson bang bang bang FINAL (count and sinden tribal horn remix)

Finally, I came across a video for 'Circuit Breaker' via Stereo Gum. This is an instrumental track from Mark Ronson and his band The Buisness INTL, which has a actually awesome video based around old video games. The video and music go together perfectly in this and is worth a watch.

'It’s the missing Link between ’80s gaming soundtrack theater and modern DJ/synth tones, with the requisite Ronson backbeat fatness.'

Diddy - Dirty Money feat. Tinie Tempah & Tinchy Stryder - Hello Good Morning [Team UK Remix]

"I've always been abreast and respected the UK hip-hop scene and I look forward to great things... It's all right to be from the UK and it's all right to talk about what you want to talk about and not try to sound or be like somebody from the US." via BBC News

Expect the grime remix by Skepta to drop very soon.

Plan B - Prayin' [Extended Video]

What a brilliant song.

The spectacular musicial career u-turn of Plan B, real name Ben Drew, has been nothing short of exceptional. He has gone from a critically acclaimed, yet mainstream flop to a much lauded, number one album holder. All thanks to the creation of a character and album 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks'. Changing from gritty intelligent rhymes about poverty and typical street thuggery he in-countered in real life to sweet soulful vocals, laden with guitar riffs, using well tried out production techniques. Plan B manages to squeeze in the odd rap, here and there, but he has been transformed into the male version of Amy Winehouse and, bloody hell, he does it well.

So now we have the third single, Prayin'. This track is the best of the singles without a doubt, in my opinion, although it could never of been released as a first single. Although not the best video of the bunch, She Said takes that, it goes to show how well this album has gone for Plan B. Sales lead to bigger budgets, which mean bigger promos and that has brought us a six minute video for Prayin'. Far away from the DIY styling of first single No Good For Me.

Next up for Ben is his directorial debut feature film, which he has just managed to gain the funding for. Thanks to Strickland Banks.
